Read the operation and use of visible spectrophotometer and matters needing attention

Visible Spectrophotometer is a single-beam spectrophotometer with simple structure and easy to use. Based on the selective absorption characteristics of the sample to monochromatic light, it can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the sample. Quantitative analysis is based on the principle of relative measurement, that is, the solvent (or air) of the sample is selected as the standard sample, and its transmittance is set to 100%. The transmittance of the test sample relative to the standard sample (or air).
Operation and Use of Visible Spectrophotometer:
1. Turn on
1. Before turning on, check whether the power socket is connected;
2. Turn on the power switch and the instrument displays "723C";
3. After the instrument is self-tested, press the "MODE" key and then press the "2" key, and the instrument will display "DATA".
2. Usage
1. Press the "GOTO λ" key and enter the set wavelength;
2, four cuvettes, where the reference sample is placed at the R position and the other three are placed in the sample to be tested. Put the cuvette into the cuvette rack in the sample cell and cover the sample cell cover;
3. Push the reference sample into the light path and press the "ABS%" key to make the instrument automatically zero and full.
4, then push the sample to be tested into the light path to display the absorbance value of the sample;
5. If you want to print out the data of the sample to be tested, just press the "START/STOP" key.
Precautions for the use of visible spectrophotometer:
1. After daily use, carefully check whether there is any solution overflow in the sample room. If there is any overflow, dry it with filter paper at any time.
2. Cover the instrument with a dust cover after use.
3. After use, clean one part by one, especially the color dish. Wipe it clean with the cleaning liquid, and then put it into the storage equipment after drying. In order to prevent the fatigue of the photocell, the sample chamber cover must be opened when it is not measured to cut off the light path to extend the service life of the photocell.
